Flagler Portraits-16

1. Year, major(s)/minor(s), plans after you graduate:

English major, Creative Writing minor.

2. What’s the last book you read for fun?

Stephen King’s Dr. Sleep, sequel to The Shining, and Jean Jacques Rousseau.

3. Coffee or tea?

Coffee in the morning and sometimes the afternoons when I need to wake up. Then when I need to calm down, chamomile and green tea, especially.

4. If you could be any literary character for a day, who would you be and why?

John Keats. I would love to know his take on his Hyperion, how critics reacted, and what he really thinks of India. Also, he was another crazy brilliant, scorpio poet and writer who tragically died young…but what an impression he left.

5. Quote to live by:

“Only boring people get bored…”

“Always be kind.”

“Logic will get you from A to B, imagination will take you everywhere.” –Albert Einstein

And a quote for John Keats (in my opinion): “Be not afraid of greatness.  Some are born great, some achieve greatness, and some have greatness thrust upon them” –Shakespeare, Twelfth Night
