1. Year, major(s)/minor(s), plans after you graduate:

Freshman. Graphic Design & Spanish double major / Advertising minor. I don’t have definite plans for after graduation at the moment – I will see where my education and opportunities at Flagler College take me.

2. What’s the last book you read for fun?

Last book I read for fun is Bless Me, Ultima by Rudolfo Anaya. Even though I read this book in high school, I felt I could better appreciate it now from a new perspective. The magic realism is captivating and fantastic.

3. Coffee or tea?

I love tea! I can have tea anytime, and I enjoy finding new and exotic herbal teas. There are so many possibilities for tea too, including classic southern iced tea – a true, delicious and refreshing comfort. However, the smell of coffee is cozy and welcoming, so I like to make coffee on occasion.

4. If you could be any literary character for a day, who would you be and why?

I think that it would be neat to be Nancy Drew for a day. She seems to be the whole package: she is extremely intelligent, talented, fashionable, and confident. What a Renaissance lass!

5. Quote to live by:

“Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment, it is as perennial as the grass.” – Max Ehrmann, Desiderata
