1. Year, major(s)/minor(s), plans after you graduate:

I’m a junior, majoring in History with minors in Creative Writing and Philosophy. After I graduate in 2016, I want to move to France and write poetry and have lots of cats; realistically, I’m looking to pursue a career in publishing.

2. What’s the last book you read for fun?

The Wild Truth by Carine McCandless

3. Coffee or tea?

Tea for life.

4. If you could be any literary character for a day, who would you be and why?

Marius Pontmercy from Les Miserables, even though he isn’t my favorite character. But I love the novel and the time period it portrays, and I want to experience it. Marius is literally the only character who doesn’t die, so I’d want to be him.

5. Quote to live by:

In seventh grade, this kid named Johnny told me that “you’ve got to give yourself more credit” and I’ve always tried to live by that. Thank you, Johnny from French class.
