Flagler Portraits-9

1. Year, major(s)/minor(s), plans after you graduate:

Senior. English/Creative Writing. Possibly grad school, still on the fence about that. I would also like to move to a developing country for a bit and teach English and creative writing, as well as work on some development projects while I am there. Ideally I would like to settle in Boston, write for a living, and have my own non-profit organization.

2.  What’s the last book you read for fun?

The Opposite of Loneliness by Marina Keegan.

3. Coffee or tea?

Tea.

4.  If you could be any literary character for a day, who would you be and why?

Wonder Woman, if she counts as a literary figure. She is the ultimate superhero, in my opinion. She fights with the same strength that all the other men do, but she fights for the right reasons. She stands for peace, justice, truth, and love. She’s noble and empowered. She’s a badass.

5. Quote to live by:

“Nothing in this world worth having comes easy.”
